Renaissance Fair

Last weekend Ty and I sort of stumbled upon a Renaissance Fair in Richland.  Neither of us had ever been to one and thought it would be fun to check out.

There was even entertainment while standing in line.  As you can see, it was a long line (and went even further behind us) so that was very welcomed.

Here's some pictures of what we saw:

This guy was totally legit.
Coolest Event
Nice.

Especially after seeing the jousting and such, I wanted to go home and watch A Knight's Tale.  It was pretty cool.  I would have like to see a little more enthusiasm from some of the other "actors"/participants of the shows.  They just didn't seem all that into it or really tried to make you believe it.  It was still fun aside from that though and it was great to see some local excitement.  If we go again, I might have to buy a Renaissance dress.  They are soooo pretty!

  1. Looks like fun! We had to put on one of these fairs in 9th grade for History. Some of those people are a little kooky, no? :)

  2. The Renaissance Fair reminds me of Gilmore Girls! Always looked like fun!

  3. (don't know if this comment is getting through - third try!)

Love renaissance fairs -- I think I've only been once, to a random one in Payson Utah, but it was awesome. I love it when they are on Gilmore Girls and encouraging them to stay in character!
